President's Message
Hi Everyone,
I am so glad to be representing you as president of the South Carolina School Plant Management Association this year! The board and I have been working very hard to make SCSPMA better than ever before. Just one of many things we have done to encourage participation and enhance the Association is recreating our Web-site. We have made the web site more user friendly and a useful tool for our members. The SCSPMA is also getting more involved with other organizations such as the Association of South Carolina Energy Managers (ASCEM) and will be attending various trade shows to promote our association.
On October 20, 2011 we will have a SCSPMA booth set up at the ASCEM fall conference in Rock Hill at Winthrop University. If you plan on attending the energy conference please come by and visit our booth. Our newest board member Jennifer Kentros with Charleston County School District and I will be there to welcome and inform folks about our Association.
I look forward to meeting many of you at the SCSPMA Decision Makers conference in February. In the next few months the board will be working on making the winter conference a great success for our Association. Please plan on joining us!
As always, if you have any suggestions or comments on ways to enhance our association by all means contact me or one of the other board members.
Sincerely,
David Hogge
